Five weeks out and I have been riding slow and easy, Have been out to Whananaki, a beautiful coastal settlement north east of Whangarei, for an over nighter. A couple of 70km rides and a lot of commuting.

Just ride and sort my gear out has been the order of the month, with my bike, camping gear, water and a small amount of food totaling just under 27kg, that’s a fraction of what I weigh.
